The construction and practice of the discourse system of “socialist economy of ecological civilization”,not only need to gradually conceive of and introduce a new type of visualized green product industry, technology and living consumption, but also have to create and implement a radical political economy of socialist ecological civilization, so as to provide the whole society with realistic possibilities and ways to be transformed into new economic patterns, production modes and lifestyle. The practice of the construction of socialist ecological civilization with Chinese characteristics in the New Era provides a realistic stage and future possibility for creating or moving towards this “ecological economy” or “socialist economy of ecological civilization”. “Economic ecologicalization” (or ecological modernization) and “ecological economicalization” (or green development), which have been unfolded in the background and context of the development of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics, and the trial of economic innovation to gradually support and adapt to the higher stage or form of socialist society with Chinese characteristics, can be the two main ways and modes of green economic innovation. The specific configuration combination consists of four main elements, including the gradual building of the ruling party and the government under its leadership which are rapidly engaged in greening; the gradual improvement of the institutional structure and capacity for national environmental governance; the green market influenced by both institutional incentive and restraint, capital and technical means, the curve-driven mobilization of social environmental organizations; and the democratic participation of the masses. These four elements constitute a social supporting dynamic mechanism with distinctive features for the development of socialist economy of ecological civilization.
