The Characteristics and Experience of China's Poverty Alleviation

Abstract

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, our country has achieved world-renowned achievements in poverty alleviation, writing a new chapter in human anti-poverty, and demonstrating the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core and the superiority of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics. This article analyzes the changes in the main body, objects, targets, and models of poverty relief in China's fight against poverty, summarizes the basic experience of poverty alleviation in the past five years, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on the leadership mechanism, policy implementation, and support objects of poverty alleviation in the future. Winning a decisive victory in building a well-off society in an all-round way and achieving the goal of poverty alleviation on schedule is of important theoretical and practical significance.
