Abstract

There exist dynamic mechanism, balance mechanism and guiding mechanism in social development. Dynamic mechanism is the mechanization and way by which the power factors promoting social development play their roles in an associated state. Balance mechanism is the power controlling the relations among the elements of social system to realize the steady social development, and also the mechanization and way by which this power plays its role. Guiding mechanism is a spiritual\|ideological type of mechanism which is formed on the basis of the practice of social development and is used to understand, guide and regulate social development. Specifically, guiding mechanism consists of such three elements as development value development concept and development theory, which is the mechanization and way by which the three elements play their roles. There are close relations of inter-dependency, mutual restraint and mutual transformation among the three mechanisms. They are completely and inseparably integrated in the social organism itself with its development and change. From the perspective of development mechanism, the development problems facing China today are mainly those of development mechanism, such as the unscientific, unsound and uncoordinated development mechanism. In order to realize China’s scientific development, these three mechanisms must be optimized and integrated.
